During production of cast-in-situ concrete diaphragm walls, the most important factor, especially to achieve a watertight joint, will be the use of the right stop end elements.
Especially on wide trenches the use of stop end elements instead of stop end pipes is compelling, not to shorten the re-inforced section of the diaphragm wall element.
To achieve water tightness between the individual diaphragm wall elements, a special rubber seal will be mounted.
The bolted joints of stop end elements are of special design, to prevent concrete from penetrating the joints and thus disassembling can be carried out without problems.
